Job Summary:  
Provides housekeeping related functions to all areas of the hospital excluding the kitchen.  Job duties are fairly well structured and performed under moderate supervision.

Essential Functions: 
1. Provides Environmental Services duties including:Room and Restroom Cleaning; Trash removal;Floor Care such as:  Mopping and Buffing, Carpet Shampooing, Stripping and Refinishing; Set up meeting rooms; Moving furniture 
2. Utilizes Standard Precautions when exposure to blood and body fluid is likely.  
3. Utilizes safe practices in the performance of job duties, and adheres to established safety practices.      

Preferred Position Qualifications:
Prefer High School Graduate or G.E.D.
Prefer previous housekeeping experience.
